What is the Whisperstream CommLib?

The Whisperstream CommLib is a group of classes that provide two communication components, Telnet and Http.

Whisperstream CommLib Sections
Telnet

Allows both synchronous and asychronous sending and receiving. Flexible end token searching. Advanced timeout exception handling. Options Negotiation.

Http

Builds on .NET's http libraries, simplifying tasks such as uploading/downloading files via http, adding custom headers, changing content type, handling basic authentication and proxy connections

 

What can I use the Whisperstream CommLib for?

Any application that requires uses either telnet or http connections.
